Not sure how I feel about this book. The premise is interesting. It's cute. Very YA. But what is throwing me is the pacing. It seems stilted/choppy. It come across as more of an outline then a fleshed out story. Not much depth to any of the characters or their interactions.

This is the first book that I have read from G. Bailey and Regan Rosewood and it was pretty good. So this seems to be setting the premises of the story for the characters in the book. So we have great developement for the characters. The main character being Millie Brix being in the system and being bounced from foster homes. She does not know much about her parents so she has nothing to go by as to who they are. It is all a mystery. She ends up g

This is an interest first book in what might be an interesting series. As always, G. Bailey does a great job with a series in an academy setting. The characters are interesting, but I don't feel like I know them very well. I realize this is the first book in the series, and I am interested in seeing what happens next, but this world is a little different what I usually expect from this author and I am not sure what to expect yet. I will definitely read t

    C'mon, seriously?!

Look, I understand that some books will have grammatical errors and continuity issues. I get it, really I do. Especially with indie authors...but...but...but...c'mon now! How does the MC go from:

This is the first book in the supernatural shifter academy series and introduces both the characters and plot line to us.

I loved the idea of an anomaly. someone who is so very different from everyone else, yet also the same.

The academy houses five different clans, and she needs to find her place within one of them. Sounds simple right... wrong.

Four different shifters each from a different clan, brings four very different characters ranging from p

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

    G. Bailey's new novel was riveting and full of mystery and magic! Millie is thrown into a new world very quickly and i feel like she adapted really an considering everything she was told was something she thought was only make believe.

I do think it's a bit odd that she only makes one friend and then the rest are guys where friendship is not the only thing on their minds. But then again, she

Liked it but needs some proofreading...

From that moment on, Millie finds herself attending a Shifter Academy, where she meets four handsome young men with whome she feels an instant connection. If she thought she was safe now, Millie had it all wrong as a student disappears and she finds out some disturbing facts a

    Fun series opener!!

Like every book G. Bailey writes, she takes a common concept and redid it to add her own unique flair. Regan is a new co-author for Gem who I am unfamiliar with. The co-write was done flawless with minimal discontinuity or context errors. Like most of Gem’s co-writes I’ve read, the plot flows seamlessly and isn’t noticeable that 2 different people collaborated on the story.

Now this story...like I said, it is a common theme and concept but with its own u
